Owners Tony and Catherine Healy are very highly regarded, with over 31 years experience, in Sydney's antique marketplace. They specialise in French, English and Italian antiques with a strong bias towards architectural antiques. Their current showroom is situated at 812- 820 Parramatta Road, Lewisham, Sydney Australia, where they trade under the name Architectural Decor.

Before starting their own antique centre in 1992, Architectural Decor, Tony had been operating a smaller business since 1975, Anthony J Healy Antiques Pty Ltd, from an antique centre situated in Surry Hills, Sydney Australia.

The Versailles Door Company, launched in 2006 at The Achitectural Digest Home Design Show in New York, was conceptualised after increasing difficulty in sourcing original architectural pieces led us to explore the possibility of having Palace quality doors made as replicas. The new company is a perfect complement to the marble and stone chimney product range Tony had already started producing and which was exhibited at Decorex in London 2004.

The Versailles Door Company uses classic French and Italian design for our inspiration - in particular, the palaces of Versailles and Fontainebleau. Our collection of doors, on exhibit in Dubai at the Big 5 Construction Exhibition in November 2006, includes examples from the Versailles and Fontainebleau Palaces, Woburn Abbey in the United Kingdom, and others from Germany and Russia.

Our solid timber, hand carved doors are of superb quality and are a unique item in today's market. We offer a broad range of customisation options such as single or double-sided carving, supply in raw timber or painted and gilded from a selection of 9 gilded finishes, and a selection of frames to chose from. Virtually any design can be hand carved in almost any size and shipped anywhere in the world.

Catherine holds Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees from Sydney University.
